Glass doors put a shower on full display, so Matthew Quinn played up the view with Origami Kiki marble tiles from AKDO. The irregular pattern and hexagonal shapes “are dynamic, but the neutral palette makes sure it isn’t too loud visually,” he says. He kept the rest of the shower unobtrusive with AKDO Soft Gray marble tiles.

Glass tiles from Waterworks line the walls and floor in the guest bathroom of this California country home by designer Jay Jeffers. The amber stripes break up the space and add a note of whimsy.
A Nantucket beach house’s blue master bathroom gets its airy look from high ceilings and walls painted a pale blue. Designer Frank Roop drew the mosaic tile floor on a computer with CAD software, and Tile Showcase manufactured it in one piece, like a carpet.
